Users are not verified
Talkonymous doesn't collect names, phone numbers or ID, so we can't verify any user's identity, age, gender, location or intentions. Nicknames, avatars, languages, interests and anything people tell you about themselves may not be true.
User content is not ours
Conversations happen live between users. We don't monitor, pre-screen or endorse what users say, and we aren't responsible for it. Views expressed by users are their own. If something breaks our rules, report it in the app.
Not professional advice
Nothing said on Talkonymous is medical, mental-health, legal, financial or any other professional advice. Don't rely on strangers for decisions about your health, money or safety.
Not an emergency or crisis service
Talkonymous can't contact emergency services for you. If you or someone else is in danger, call 112 (India) or your local emergency number. If you're struggling, you can reach the Tele-MANAS mental-health helpline on 14416 (India) or a local crisis line.
Availability
The service is provided "as is". Calls depend on your network and may drop, be delayed or fail to connect. We may change or stop the service at any time and don't guarantee it will always be available or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we're not liable for any loss or harm arising from your use of Talkonymous, from other users' conduct, or from anything said or shared on it. The full terms are in our Terms of service.
Third-party links
Our website may link to other sites, such as Google Play or government helplines. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or privacy practices.
